Viccy is a published short story writer and creative writing researcher. She loves exploring unlikely scenarios in her work, reading contemporary fiction and collaborating across disciplines.
An ongoing associate of the Newcastle Centre for the Literary Arts, Newcastle University, Viccy was the Leverhulme Trust writer in residence at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh in 2011/2. She’s an experienced writing facilitator and also holds a PhD in Creative Writing. At the moment she’s editing her first novel – a dystopian blend of fertility economics and climate change activism.
