Two.5 is a collaboration between Viccy Adams (Writer, UK) and Samantha Silver (Photographer, USA). We spent three weeks at an artists residency in rural China at the end of 2014, interviewing members of the local Naxi community to gather material for a digital commonplace book.
We know what we might do with the materials we gathered but we’d like to learn what you’ve done in similar situations, how you might suggest we approach our material, and whatever else crops up in your head over a cup of tea and piece of cake. At our collaboration salons in Newcastle and London we’ll give a short talk about our time on the residency and then facilitate a round-table discussion for creative practitioners from all disciplines to tell us about the kinds of methodologies they’ve used in the past/ want to use in the future/ heard about elsewhere.
Open to creative artists at all levels and from all background but spaces are limited so please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us you’d like to attend.
